There is high hospitality at Teton Valley Cabins, and a spark of “happy” in the air. Every winter, as the holiday season creeps in and life speeds past those fast and furious three weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas, special things start to happen in Teton Valley. Summer daylight has faded – firewood is gathered, it gets cold, ski resorts open and through advertisments, they resonate childlike excitement that rivals any tot’s Christmas morning anticipation – only in this case, its adults… dreaming of making turns in knee deep white smoke.
At Teton Valley Cabins, we share that happy, fuzzy feeling and want you to keep your stoke high your entire stay. At Christmas time, we treat guests to happy hour hot cocoa, a 104 degree oversized hot tub and we love to sell guests their tickets to Grand Targhee (for 5 bucks less than the rack rate!) which saves them a stop at the base area before grabbing their first lift of the day.
This snow started slow, and Grand Targhee had to delay the mountain opening date for the first time since the winter of 1998. But since then, this late bloomer season has not dissapointed. Over 2oo inches has blessed both Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole Mountain Resorts since opening day just over a month ago. Tomorrow will mark New Year’s Eve celebrations, and both locations have fanstastic festivities in the line up.
Cmon’ folks. In 48 hours a brand new year will be bestowed upon us, a clean slate, a white canvas. You only go around once. Spend these special times with Teton Valley Cabins, fresh powder, clean mountain air, and family and friends. If you cannot be with us this special holiday weekend, no fret. We have incredible specials all winter long. Don’t be a stranger!
